Summer in January
I have been enjoying this amazing weather, today was 80 degrees here at my home. In January? A tank top and flip flops, I'm just gonna say, I LOVE IT! (insert my dorky dance where i sing oh ya, uh huh, here)
I spent a wonderful afternoon at the park with my sister and my amazing kids. It felt good to lay in the grass and relax, push the kids on the swings and chat a little. A great way to spend MLK day, no school and just love.
This whole weekend was spent enjoying this amazing weather. I enjoyed my Saturday afternoon shooting portraits of a beautiful girl Marisa, wait till you see her photos, I am even impressed at how great they turned out! (insert little laugh here). She was amazing, quite the young beauty and so up for anything, makes my job so much fun that way!
And Sunday we braved the Santa Monica Pier with a sweet couple Jeff and Kim for their engagement photos. I say we braved it, as did 15,000 other people, some interesting people I may add (ahem, man in leopard thong holding snakes), but we will save that for another day. Kin and Jeff were so easy going, and had no hesitation on inserting their poor feet into the icy ocean :), all in the name of a sweet photo!
Don't hate me because I'm warm and cozy in a tank and flip flops in January.... Instead admire these warm sunny pics...
